I have successfully defended my PhD thesis, entitled “Memory reports”, on July 8th. I presented my claim that memory predicates denote non-novel evidential knowledge. And my claim that causalism, simulationism and epistemic theories of remembering are compatible when restricted to their different relations to natural language and conceptual analysis. I still believe both of these things!

Two proceedings papers of mine have just been published: “The shared core of memory predicates is non-novel knowledge” in the Proceedings of Sinn und Bedeutung 30 (single-authored); and “Against non-temporal readings of time“ (p.207) in the proceedings of the 28th Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG; with Michaela Hulmanová and Marcin Wągiel).

New articles are being published incrementally in the ESSLLI student session Special Issue of the Journal of Logic, Language and Information which I am editing together with Valeria Gradimondo. Most recently: “A Diagnostic Framework for Compositional Generalization via NL-to-FOL Translation” by İbrahim Ethem Deveci. Congrats!

I am organizing the SORG, a semantics online reading group (only open for students and post-docs) on classic, foundational texts in formal semantics, based on this collection. We also have special squib sessions upon request, e.g. before submission deadlines.
